A San Diego hotspot, Zenbu means “all” in Japanese, and offers both a traditional sushi bar experience and modern Asian cuisine.
Owned and operated by local restaurateur Matt Rimel, Zenbu is the result of a lifelong passion for fishing and great food. Rimel owns a commercial fishing boat and the seafood company Ocean Giant, which has a fleet of boats around the world fishing exclusively for his restaurants and clients.
Next door to Zenbu is the newly opened Zenbu Lounge. Relax in an intimate setting as local DJs spin Thursday through Saturday nights. The lounge also features signature cocktails and late-night dining with Master Sushi Chef Tim Johnson.
